The park

Cova da Baleia currently has 55,000m2 dedicated to Leisure, Adventure and Outdoor Entertainment, always with excellent conditions of Safety and Comfort for all our clients. We develop programs for Schools, Companies, Families, Scouts, Birthday Parties, Special Celebrations and Summer Camps for participants aged 6 and over.

Swimming pool

The park offers a swimming pool for those moments of intense heat. About 14 meters long and 1.10 meters deep, the pool is ideal for taking a dip and relaxing. 

The natural surroundings and the sound of birds make the experience even more pleasant and relaxing. The combination of the surrounding greenery and the crystalline blue of the pool creates an enchanting setting to enjoy with family and friends.

Adventures

Climbing
Climbing is a vertical activity that can be practiced in both natural and artificial environments. Participants progress up the wall using only their hands and feet, always secured by a rope.

Rappelling, on the other hand, is done with the feet against the wall and the hands holding the safety rope. The Cova da Baleia Adventure Park offers a 6-meter artificial wall, with strategically placed tusks to increase the challenge.

The aim is to get as high as possible!

Roper Park
Rappelling is a technique of descending vertically. There are different historical versions, one of which dates back to the late 19th century when French climbers explored the canyons and caves of the Pyrenees, creating this safe technique for descents. At Cova da Baleia, you can have this experience in our 10-meter-high tower.

Slide
The Slide is a fast descent activity in which participants slide down a steep steel cable until they reach the end of the obstacle. This activity offers participants strong sensations and a lot of adrenaline. 

This activity is a great option for those looking for adventure and fun. It's a unique opportunity to try something different and challenging, while having fun in a natural and safe environment.

Jump Away
Quick Flight is a free-fall simulator, installed in our Tower, which allows you to experience the sensation of free-falling from a height of 10 meters. It's simply thrilling and gets your adrenaline pumping. If you like to test your limits, this adventure is for you.

Tree climbing
We offer thrilling acrobatic courses via suspension bridges between trees, with various attractions including slides, trapezes and other surprises, at an exciting altitude of 7 meters.

Our Cova da Baleia Tree Climbing Circuits challenge practitioners' concentration, balance and courage, providing a real test of their skills.

As well as boosting self-esteem and concentration, these circuits also help to develop self-control and overcome vertigo.

Archery

The activity of archery has appealed to both children and adults due to its unique characteristics. Little ones are attracted by the resemblance to the fictional character Robin Hood, while adults are fascinated by the techniques involved in getting the best score on a target that seems so far away. 

This activity requires the use of a bow and arrows, and consists of hitting a target with different scores, which challenges participants to test their aim, posture and concentration.

Bubble Football is a variant of soccer whose main feature is the giant inflatable bubble, the Bubble, which is part of the players' equipment.
