Each edition of F*ckingAwesomeStories has a specific theme that your story has to relate to (how/in what way is up to how you interpret the theme - you can be VERY creative). Double check you can make it on the scheduled date/time before signing up.
Here's our guidelines - take a look and make sure your story fits them:
✨ It's storyTELLING - so no reading please :)
✨ A story has a clear beginning, middle & end. So, skip the speeches and TED talks. It's a MOMENT, not a theme.
✨ We love hopes & dreams, but these stories gotta be true & based on your own experiences.
Keep your story to a maximum of 8 minutes.
VERY IMPORTANT - Racism, homophobia, misogyny or any form of hate speech will get you kicked off the stage and banned from our events forever.
PLEASE - do not promote your services or business during your story.

Last thing: There are limited storytelling spots. We don't curate, it's first come first serve (with a preference for first-timers - we see you!) If you don't manage to get a slot right away, we'll stick you on the waiting list and keep you in the loop in case someone cancels.
On that note, we get it! Shit happens! But don't be an asshole and cancel last minute. Let us know as soon as you can, so someone can take your spot.
