José González is the first act confirmed for the 17th edition of Misty Fest. The singer-songwriter returns to Portugal for two unmissable concerts, where he will present his new album. He will perform on 1 November in Lisbon at the Coliseu dos Recreios, and on 2 November in the north at the Coliseu Porto Ageas.

New album, new show
✨ With the imminent release of *Against The Dying Of The Light* (on 27 March), preceded by the single “Pajarito” and the title track, José González returns to the road with new material that expands his musical universe.
✨ The album reflects on humanity, technology and the uncertain paths of the contemporary world, combining lyrical reflection with his unmistakable melodic and rhythmic signature.
✨ The concert setlist blends these new songs with standout moments from his entire discography — including essential tracks such as “Heartbeats”, from his debut album Veneer (2003) — striking a perfect balance between introspection and rhythmic drive.
Following Local Valley (2021), the 20th-anniversary edition of Veneer (2023) and extensive international tours in 2023 and 2024, José González now returns with a revamped show that reflects the full maturity and evolution of his artistic journey.
