East Forest
East Forest is the project of producer and multidisciplinary artist Krishna-Trevor Oswalt. Since 2008, his music — described as “lush” (Rolling Stone) and “ecstatic” (NPR) — has focused on the exploration of sound to guide inner journeys and the expansion of consciousness.
✨ His latest musical release, *Lovingly: A Soundtrack For The Psychedelic Practitioner, vol. III*, is a fine example of this aim: an immersive album, over six hours long, it was recorded and improvised live during psilocybin ceremonies held between 2020 and 2024, to guide participants’ experience from start to finish.
✨ East Forest’s live concerts draw on an electroacoustic repertoire that combines ambient, neoclassical, electronic, and avant-pop, recreating the spiritual and therapeutic experiences that Oswalt has developed as a pioneering figure in the global movement of meditation and inner resilience.
With over 30 albums released and collaborations with names such as Ram Dass and Jon Hopkins, East Forest has presented his work in venues and festivals worldwide. Now it is Misty Fest’s turn.
