What's the vibe?
❤️ Pitch an Amig@ is a lighthearted dating event where your friends become your wingpeople! Selected pitchers create fun presentations to show off what makes their single friend awesome, while everyone else mingles, enjoys drinks, and makes connections. It's dating, but way less awkward and way more fun.
❤️ Be the ultimate wingperson and pitch your single friend – or find someone to pitch YOU! Even if you're not pitching, come grab drinks, catch up with friends, and make some fun connections.
❤️Plus, 2 lucky amigos will win a voucher for a dinner date in town!
HOW IT WORKS
You sign up to pitch your friend
✨ We select 4 Amigos + 4 Amigas to be pitched
✨ We notify you by Feb 18th if you've been selected
✨Share your presentation + submit €10 by Feb 20th (the registration fee goes entirely towards the dinner date vouchers!)
Feb 26th – come and have fun!
PITCH RULES
⚡Get consent first! Your friend needs to know you're pitching them – no surprises!
⚡Keep it fun & positive! You're here to hype up your friend and show what makes them awesome – not roast them!
⚡4-5 mins (7 mins absolute limit) – slides/images highly encouraged! Cover the basics: who they are, what makes them a great catch, what they're looking for, etc.
⚡Important: Last slide should have contact info – Instagram, WhatsApp, or a QR code works great!
⚡ Be respectful – no inappropriate images or comments. Use common sense!
FAQ
1. What’s the goal of the event?
The idea is for friends to hype their single friends in a fun and lighthearted way! Life is already too serious, so we decided to create a dating event that’s welcoming for everyone.
2. How do people get in contact with someone that was pitched?
We encourage you to meet the person directly at the event! However, we will also share their contact data with a QR code if you would like to do it after. We will have a page with the QR codes at a discrete place if you are uncomfortable sticking you phone out.
3. Who should come?
Anyone who loves connection, community, and a little bit of fun. Whether you're single, a supportive friend, or just love watching creative pitches, you're welcome to join!
4. Can I come if I am not pitching?
Of course! Come to the event to watch the pitches, have a laugh, a drink, and maybe meet someone!
5. Is this event inclusive of all sexual orientations?
Yes! This event is for everyone – straight, gay, bi, queer, and everything in between. All we ask is that when you pitch your friend, you clearly mention what they're looking for in a partner (including gender preference) so everyone knows who might be a good match.
6. Do I need to register if I am not pitching?
You don’t!
7. Do I have to be single to pitch my friend?
Not at all! You don't have to be single to pitch — just willing to hype up your friend in a fun, positive way and brave enough to do it in front of a crowd. That is what it is all about!
If you are single, pitching is also a sneaky-great way to put yourself out there while doing something awesome for your friend. Win-win!
8. Can I present my friend with another friend (co-present)?
Definitely! Co-presenting is fun and easy to take some of the pressure out.
