LAGAR IMAGINÁRIO is the Cultural Association responsible for the promotion, production and education of animated films and Visual Arts in the Municipality of Mafra.
Through the MANIFEST Festival and Sessions, we promote films from all over the world and for all ages.
In 2025, as part of the non-competitive sessions, we will have 7 films, next 7th at 4:30 pm, in partnership with CINANIMA ON TOUR and CINANIMA JUNIOR,.
We have opened our borders to Poland, Estonia, France, Belgium and Germany. Portugal will be represented at the Beatriz Costa Municipal Auditorium, with directors Adriana Andrade, Luana Rodrigues and Daniela Tietzen from the film “Bursting the seams”.
The sessions are recommended for ages 12 and over but there is no violence, just important, poetic and fun themes, for all ages
The next MANIFEST animated film session will be in Ericeira on August 22nd at 9:30 pm.
After a day at the beach and before a summer concert with a cold beer, let's stop and let ourselves be transported by an art of intersections and confluences, like the streets and houses of Mafra and Ericeira.
We'll have a selection of six films from "Monstra à solta" award program, and in the auditorium of the Jaime Lobo e Silva Cultural House, we'll travel through Portugal, of course, Norway, France, and Mexico.
